This is a small book mark that I stitched back in 1991. I am not sure where the pattern came from, but I do know about the thread. The thread came from the very large mall in Edmondton, Canada. It is a silk type thread that is used mainly in Brizilial Embrodery. It was stitched on 14 count Aida, and frayed on the all four edges.
