Dartanyon

     Dartanyon is probably the largest piece that I have ever worked. As you can see, he told me his name as I was working on him. All of my projects talk to me while I work on them. He measures done on 28 count Evenweave. He is from a kit by DMC called the Born Free Series. He took me close to 9 months to finish.
 
     I did him in three different stitches. The main head is done in full cross stitches using two strands of floss. The sky is done in half crosses using one strand of floss. The bottom part is done in full cross stitches using one strand of floss to give it just a slight “pushed back effect”.
